MARNI’s debut fragrance has been eagerly anticipated since its impending arrival was first announced in September 2011. This week it finally reaches counters, and it has certainly been worth the wait.
With a campaign shot by Nick Knight and featuring Raquel Zimmerman (click through the images and watch Nick Knight’s film below for a behind-the-scenes insight), the fragrance features incense, cardamom, patchouli and rose, and will be available exclusively at Harrods.
“When you spray it at first, you don’t smell the whole story,” Marni designer Consuela Castiglioni told Vogue beauty and health director Nicola Moulton in the January 2013 issue. “It changes; it’s complicated. But it’s also very sensual. To be different is very hard now, but it is also very special.”
The first fragrance from Marni will be on sale from February 1 at Harrods, priced at £65.
Fernanda Young just released her new book, A Louca Debaixo do Branco, posing for several pictures in a wedding dress. The author invited the Brazilian supermodel Raquel Zimmermann (Ford Models) to make a cameo in the work; clicks on one, signed by Bob Wolfenson, they are like as a couple. Raquel has also signed a film ‘A Noiva do Farol’, displayed during the book launch at MIS in São Paulo.
